Margaritas is one of our regular spots, we try to get there at least once a month with family. Denise usually orders the ceviche or the quesadilla verde, and their house special is a favorite too. Greg's Mexican, off First Street right across from Robins AFB, has been around a long time. It's family-owned, the food is good, reasonably priced, and they get you in and out quick, which matters if you're on a lunch break from base.
La Cabana is another family-owned option. The owner runs three locations between Warner Robins, Hawkinsville, and Cochran. And if you're near the base and want something a little pricier with more variety, Taco Shed is popular, especially with base personnel, since it's right by the Museum of Aviation.
Barbecue, Burgers, and Local Diners
White Diamond in Hawkinsville is the oldest one on this list, it's been around since the town itself was founded. It's a small diner, but the barbecue is excellent and the burgers hold their own too. You'll find it on Highway 247 near the Subway and McDonald's.
